He was not afraid of western hegemonic culture. Instead, he stood up to be a guardian of Islam by recovering the old Persian culture with his experience and knowledge. He played an important role during the transformation and development of Iranian society. Ali Shariati is also worth mentioning in the Iran's Islamic revolution, when his thoughts rouse strong repercussions among the young generation. Even today, many colleges are still reading his books to absorb cultural nutrition and to know Islam.
