Il Bologna f.c. nasce ufficialmente il 3 ottobre 1909 presso la birreria Ronzani a Bologna, come sezione del Circolo Turistico Bolognese. I fondatori sono giovani studenti chiamati "i matti che corrono dietro a una palla". A metà degli anni Venti il Bologna è una delle squadre più forti d'Italia. Fra il 1935 e il 1941, i rossoblu vincono quattro scudetti e un Trofeo Expo di Parigi, diventando famosa come "lo squadrone che tremare il mondo fa". Il Bologna avrà l'occasione di tornare a festeggiare un titolo quasi 80 anni dopo, nel 1964, sotto la guida di Fulvio Bernardini. Gli anni passano e il Bologna f.c., fra alterne vicende, arriva ai giorni nostri, dove accede alla Champions League.
