Narrating at a steady pace, Bernadette Dunne brings the final installment in the Protector of the Small series to its satisfying conclusion. Keladry of Mindelan, now 18 years old, has achieved her dream of becoming a "lady knight," one of two in the Kingdom of Tortall. Kel longs to fulfill the task set before her: to destroy the evil mage, Blayce.
