悟空揭下榜文，来到王宫为国王治病。
悟空用悬丝诊脉之法为国王看病，将大黄、巴豆、锅灰和白龙马的尿混合在一起，做成三粒大药丸。紧接着，他又召唤龙王降雨，用雨水给国王送服药丸。
国王吃了药，果然病就好了。
原来，三年前，王后被一个叫赛太岁的妖怪抓走 了，国王日夜思念王后，才得此重病。
赛太岁有三个金铃，会喷火、喷烟、喷飞沙。
悟空在王后的帮助下，偷走金铃，打败了妖怪。 赛太岁现出原形，原来是观音的坐骑金毛犹。
悟空救回王后，国王一家团圆。
