西夏演义 (Xixia Romance)

距今一千多年前，在我国广袤的青藏高原与川、甘毗连地区，活跃着一支"精骑射，善征战"的游牧民族——党项族。后因吐蕃的兴起，党项族被迫东迁，进入今天的甘肃东部、陕西北部、宁夏南部和内蒙古鄂尔多斯地区。唐朝末年，定居在宥州（今内蒙古鄂托克旗城川一带）的党项族拓跋思恭因镇压黄巢起义军有功而受到唐朝的册封，并赐皇姓李，任定难军节度使，爵夏国公，住夏州（今陕西靖边县统万城），统辖夏、银、绥、宥、静等五州之地。北宋建立后，为消除地方割据政权，宋太宗开始向北征伐。由此，拉开了宋、辽、夏、金以及南宋与蒙古前后长达二百年之久的战争序幕。党项西夏的故事由此开始......( One thousand years ago, in China's vast Tibetan Plateau and adjacent areas of Sichuan, Gansu, there are an active people: Dangxiang People.
