In Camila la estrella del baile, Camila's dance camp is having a competition, and she and her team, Las Estrellas, are ready to win! When Camila twists her ankle, she encourages her team to carry on without her, but Camila's friends won't leave her behind and find a way to continue dancing together. In Camila la estrella del canto, Camila works to overcome her fear as she takes part in a singing competition, where she will sing a song that is very special to her family. In Camila la estrella del concurso de talentos, Camila is excited to sign up for the talent show to sing her favorite song, until her classmate Ruby signs up to sing the same song. Camila decides not to participate, but Ruby has an idea. And in Camila la estrella de los videojuegos, Camila enters a video game tournament to win the prize money for her new WeTube channel, but finds winning is much more difficult than she thought. Each title features short chapters, colorful illustrations of Camila and her family and friends, and demonstrates ways in which they support her. Each title includes a related activity, glossary, and questions to reflect on the story in the back matter. Camila has brown skin. VERDICT This positive Spanish-language chapter book series is a solid addition to school and public libraries.-Selenia Paz
