In a lost station in the middle of nowhere, Lupita, Raquel, and Carmen sell the same meat and spicy sauce sandwiches to passengers of the only train that stops there every day. Each of them believes she makes the best sandwiches in the area and feels that the others are stealing her customers. In short, there is not much love lost between them.
However, one day, frustrated by having sold fewer sandwiches than the others, Lupita inadvertently takes an unusual path to return home. What she finds along the way will forever change her daily life and that of her two competitors.
