唐僧师徒来到西梁女国都城倒换关文，西梁国女王想招唐僧为夫婿。
唐僧连连摆手拒绝，悟空却将计就计，一口答应下来，八戒甚至嚷嚷着要先喝喜酒。
喝了喜酒，女王在关文上盖了印，唐僧借口送三个徒弟出关，师徒四人准备就此逃走。
没想到，半路杀出个女妖，刮起一阵狂风，卷走唐僧。
悟空三人一路追去，追到妖怪洞前，与那女妖一场好杀。谁料，那女妖的武器十分厉害，竟能打得悟空头疼。
观音菩萨显灵，说这是一只蝎子精，提醒他们去请昴日星官除妖。
悟空请来昴日星官，又和八戒一起闯进洞中引出妖怪。星官变作一只雄赳赳的大公鸡，啼叫了两声就降服了蝎子精。
悟空兄弟救出唐僧，继续向西天走去。
